I really need to keep an eye on my teenager’s DMs just to make sure they are staying safe out there, but I definitely do not want to trigger that read receipt and cause a massive argument. I read online that you can use airplane mode to bypass it, but my luck is terrible and it always seems to update the status the second I turn the wifi back on. Is there any sort of reliable background tracker or trick that actually lets you read everything completely invisibly so they have no idea I was ever looking?
