Is there a simple way to link my husband’s phone to mine for shared photos or location updates?

Use a shared album for photos. Google Photos has “Partner Sharing,” and Apple Photos has “Shared Albums.”

For location, use “Location Sharing” in Google Maps. On iPhones, you can also use the “Find My” app.

Both features require setup on each phone.
